Kapuso star and Global Fashion icon Heart Evangelista-Escudero is reportedly gearing up for her return to the big screen in the upcoming international film “Infamous 6.”
Directed by Anthony Hickox, the movie does not have a confirmed premiere date at this time. On Monday, June 17, the Kapuso artist excitedly posted an Instagram Story featuring a snapshot of herself from what seemed to be a scene in the movie.
“Infamous 6 soon,” she captioned.
One of her fan pages on Instagram also shared a preview of the movie that was publicly presented at Toycon 2024, held from June 14 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
It can be read, “Heart Evangelista’s new international movie.”
According to IMDB, Heart Evangelista-Escudero is set to portray the character Mei in the upcoming action-thriller. She will be appearing alongside international talents including Lorena Andrea, Armand Assante, Jemma Dallender, Alana Boden, and others.
Fans of Evangelista expressed their excitement about her return to acting in the comments section of a post on the fan page @heart_evangelista_updates.
It’s not the first that Heart will be a part of an international project. She made an appearance in episode 9 of the 2021 Netflix reality TV series “Bling Empire” Season 3. But, currently, Heart is in France for Paris Fashion Week, showcasing a banig-inspired dress designed by Filipino designer Ivara Seron.
In June, Heart Evangelista-Escudero assumed the role of President of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SPFI), as her husband Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero took the Senate Presidency when former Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri stepped down in the said position.
“I am so honored to stand before everyone of you today as the new President of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. As I stand side by side with these men and women – my fellow spouses and officials who were involved in SSFI long before me, I could not help but be grateful for welcoming and supporting me in this challenging journey ahead,” she posted on her Instagram page after taking her oath on June 5.
She added, “As I have said during our very first meeting, l am ready to honor the challenge of working together to find ways to uplift our people and our communities.” Heart pledged to uphold and advocate for the accomplishments of those who came before her.
“The legacies left by all the ladies before me, a treasure of stories and testaments of service to the nation is something that encourages me to continue what they have started – to make a difference and to inspire not only SSFl members but also individuals and groups who have the power to do something in improving the lives of people around us,” she reiterated.
Mrs. Escudero took over the position previously held by Audrey Tan-Zubiri, who is the spouse of former Senate President Zubiri.
