HUAWEI continues its push to connect innovation with meaningful community impact as it partners with Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and DuckWorld PH to officially launch ‘Tour of Luzon: The Great Revival.’ A cornerstone of Asian cycling history, the race first began in 1955 and returns this year to rekindle national pride, regional unity, and wellness through sport.

Tour of Luzon 2025 Unites Local and International Cycling Teams

The Tour of Luzon 2025 promises a thrilling showcase of global cycling skills and talent while bringing together the community and celebrating different cultures in one meaningful event. The multi-stage cycling event will begin at the heritage site of San Agustin Church of Paoay in Laoag City and ends in Lingayen, Baguio City at Camp John Hay. The overall race course is 1,050 kilometers of diverse terrain in an 8-day race that spans 7 provinces from North to Central Luzon.

This year’s revival features 12 premier Philippine cycling teams, including the MPT DriveHub Cycling Team, and 5 standout teams that include CCN Factory HK from Hong Kong, Malaysia Pro Cycling, Bryton Racing Team from Taiwan, and Gapyeong Cycling Team from South Korea. Making it a total of 119 cyclists with each team composed of 7 riders.

The champion team will take home the coveted Perpetual Trophy along with the PHP 1 million worth of cash prize. The Individual Champion will receive a trophy, podium jersey, PHP 500,000 cash prize, and an all-expense-paid 3-day, 2-night Suite room stay at Camp John Hay Hotels. The legendary “Eagle of the Mountain” title is also set to return and will be awarded to the winner of Stage 8 in Baguio City for the final uphill race. The winning “Eagle of the Mountain” will receive a trophy and a podium jersey. 

The winning “Best Young Rider” and “Sprint King” will also be awarded trophies and podium jerseys. The top performer for “Stage Individual Classification” and the “Most Combative Rider” will also be recognized and given podium jerseys.
