From September 15 to October 15, 2024, The Peninsula Manila invites everyone to “Light Up Your September in Pink” as part of its campaign to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. This initiative is particularly focused on breast cancer, a cause that affects countless lives, and The Peninsula aims to make a significant impact through various activities and offerings during this month-long campaign.

One of the most visually striking elements of this campaign will be the transformation of the grand fountain at the junction of Ayala and Makati Avenues into a dazzling pink beacon of hope. Each evening, the fountain will be illuminated in vibrant pink hues, serving as a reminder of the ongoing battle against cancer and the importance of early detection and support. This captivating display will not only beautify the cityscape but also inspire the community to come together in solidarity for those affected by cancer.

In addition to the fountain’s illumination, The Peninsula Manila will offer a special “Peninsula in Pink Afternoon Tea” at The Lobby. This delightful experience features a three-tiered set filled with rose-tinted sweet and savory treats, perfectly paired with a selection of teas. Guests can indulge in this exquisite afternoon tea for ₱2,890 or opt for a luxurious version that includes two flutes of Champagne for ₱4,890.

A portion of the proceeds from each afternoon tea sold will be donated to the Philippine Foundation for Breast Care, Inc., ensuring that every bite contributes to a noble cause. The afternoon tea will be available daily from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, allowing guests to enjoy a moment of relaxation while supporting a meaningful initiative.

For those celebrating their birthdays in September, The Peninsula Manila has a sweet surprise. The Lobby’s iconic frozen extravaganza, The Pen Pals Polka, is back! This indulgent treat consists of 12 scoops of ice cream, chocolate shavings, whipped cream, wafers, and strawberries, and is offered to guests who order the special birthday set menu. This delightful dessert is a perfect way to celebrate a special day in a delicious and memorable style.

Additionally, couples looking to elevate their romance can take advantage of the “Fly & Propose” package. This unique offering allows you to dazzle your sweetheart with a breathtaking marriage proposal during a 15-minute helicopter flight over the Manila skyline or a thrilling 60-minute flight to Taal Lake and Volcano. Imagine the magic of proposing while hovering among the clouds, creating a once-in-a-lifetime moment that will be cherished forever.
