Carla Abellana is the epitome of grace and glamour, and that shows not just in her work as an award-winning Kapuso actress, but also in how she carries herself—literally! In a recent bag raid featured on Julius Babao’s vlog, Carla let viewers peek inside her designer Louis Vuitton Noé bag, and while most of the items were practical and elegant, there was one unexpected thing that truly caught everyone off guard.

Read on to discover what’s inside Carla’s everyday bag—and why item #3 got everyone talking!

Let’s start with the bag itself: Carla carries a Louis Vuitton NéoNoé MM Monogram Canvas, a chic black drawstring bag that she bought three years ago in Osaka, Japan. She may be a showbiz royalty, but she doesn’t splurge impulsively. She mentioned that she only buys luxury pieces when she really falls in love with them—and this was one of those rare occasions.

Item #1: A Portable Fan

First out of the bag was a trusty portable fan. Carla admits that she’s “sweaty”, so she always makes sure to have one handy, especially with the Philippine heat. She jokes about “hot flashes,” and fans like this have become a necessity.

Item #2: Double Power Banks

Next were not one, but two power banks. She’s often on social media—lurking, editing reels, posting photos—so having backup juice for her phone is crucial. Though she didn’t say exactly how often she drains her battery, the fact that she carries two power sources says a lot!

Item #3: A Baby Lampin (Cloth Diaper)

Here’s where things got interesting. Among the usual girly must-haves, Carla pulled out a baby lampin—yes, a printed cloth diaper. But don’t be fooled! This isn’t for a baby. Carla uses it as her personal bimpo or sweat towel.

She prefers its soft texture and cute designs, joking that modern lampins are far better-looking than the plain ones from the past. This quirky yet practical item surprised fans and quickly became the most talked-about part of the video. Who would’ve thought a cloth diaper would be one of a celebrity’s daily essentials?

Other Essentials:

Carla also carries a large hairbrush (she styles her own hair), tissues, hand lotion (which she uses for her hands, arms, and even feet), and not one, but two lipsticks—both in shades of pink, her preferred tone. She also has alcohol for sanitation, a wallet (with a photo of her lola inside), a face mask (because she’s thoughtful about others when she’s feeling under the weather), and a piece of candy—either for soothing the throat or for emergency hunger.

She even had a newly purchased pair of earrings from a tiangge, showing that despite her glamorous life, she enjoys simple, affordable finds.

Aside from her phone, Carla revealed that her top non-negotiables are her portable fan and bimpo. They’re her weapons against heat and sweat. Indeed, Carla Abellana’s bag is a mirror of her personality—practical, classy, and full of character. And yes, unexpectedly adorable too!
