Joseph Marco and Herlene Budol star together in the much anticipated romantic comedy series Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask. 

Herlene, also known as ‘Hipon Girl,’ portrays the role of a 25-year-old cashier named Malta, who is the love interest of Sieg, played by Joseph.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Joseph shared how much he looked up to Harlene and described how professional she was as an actress. 

“Totoong totoo siyang tao and walang kaarte-arte. She’s willing to do everything. Makikita mo sa kanya ‘yung hunger. Nakita ko sa kanya ‘yung sarili ko dati when I was starting and I really believe in her. And I’m sure na malayo ang mararating ni Herlene.” 

“It’s a breath of fresh air kasi sobrang intense dito sa Probinsyano. Wala kasing tumatawa dun, lahat serious. Now I can flex my smile,” he added.

He also revealed how their on-screen kiss panned out and said, “It went great! So I’m really excited for the fans to see it because I’m sure matutuwa talaga sila dun sa scene na ‘yun.”

Meanwhile, Herlene expressed how thrilled she was that this opportunity had fallen on her lap.

“Napaka-exciting na opportunity ang ibinigay ng Puregold sa akin. Gusto ko ipakita sa lahat ng followers at Hiponatic supporters ang kakayahan ko bilang isang leading lady,” Herlene said.

She also had nothing but kind words for her co-star Joseph, who has made quite a name for himself in the showbiz industry. 

It can be recalled that Joseph was last seen in the hit action drama series Ang Probinsyano, while Harlene was a “Binibining Pilipinas” semi-finalist this year.
