Early Life and Education

Lagerfeld was born to a prosperous family in Hamburg. His father was a businessman, and his mother was a violinist from Berlin. At an early age, he showed an interest in fashion and moved to Paris in 1953 to pursue his dreams. He enrolled at the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, where he honed his design skills.

Lagerfeld’s talent was undeniable, and his career took off when he won a prestigious wool design competition in 1954, sharing first place with Yves Saint Laurent. Chanel and Lagerfeld’s Legacy

In 1983, Lagerfeld joined Chanel as its creative director, and he completely revitalized the iconic French fashion house. Fendi and Other Ventures
