During this time when the respective careers of Kelvin Maranda and Kira Balinger are going strong, a controversy took place on January 4, 2023.

This alleged cheating scandal revealed by Roselle Vytiaco, Miranda’s ex-girlfriend who’s both a digital creator and model, gave an explosive revelation which became a hot topic on different online media outlets.

At first, the commercial model just made a snide remark on her Instagram stating, “May cheater na pakape-kape lang.” At the moment, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to point out that Miranda posted about having coffee on his social media. 

After a while, she gave another clue, that the actor cheated on her with a Kapamilya actress, and that the two are shooting a movie, which she thinks is going to flop. She also accused the girl of being a cheater, since Vytiaco revealed that this girl has a current boyfriend. It just so happens that Kelvin and Kira are shooting a film titled ‘Chances Are, You and I’.

She eventually spilled more tea, revealing that her ex-boyfriend was actually the jealous type, since she understands their line of work and would even be okay with her then partner doing a bed scene with another girl. “Minsan, iisipin mo ako pa yung artista kung magselos siya. Little did I know na takot lang sa sarili niyang multo,” she added.

She further detailed that Miranda actually had an issue with her being friends with her exes, as well as some of her male followers. “So, ininvite ako ng mom ng ex ko sa opening ng salon nila so as a courtesy, I showed up and congratulated them. Tapos ayun, dun na siya nakahanap ng butas sakin na for sure matagal na niya hinihintay,” the Youtuber recounted.

Vytiaco then spilled the beans on the alleged manipulative and narcissistic attitude of the rising star. She claimed that he uses self-harm to tip the situation in his favor, since she is an empathetic individual. After feeling sorry for him, she eventually gets forgives him after promising that he will change for the better every time.

The 23-year-old then narrated how she pretended to just read the conversations of the two when she was actually recording it. Miranda was able to notice something was amiss when he saw the recording icon but she was able to continue screen recording the rest of the chat by quickly running away from him.

Prior to this incident, whenever the young actor was asked about his relationship status, he has always maintained that he’s single. He continues to be mum about the issue as of writing.

23-year-old Kapuso actor Kelvin started his career as part of the 2016 Star Cinema hit movie, ‘Vince and Kath and James’. In 2017, he signed an exclusive contract with the GMA Artist Center. In the next years, he played a slew of supporting roles until he got his big break via the 2019 independent film ‘The Fate’. This led to him bagging the Best Actor Award at the 6th Urduja Film Festival. He was then tapped for a lead role in ‘Dead Kids’, the 2019 Mikhail Red thriller movie made available via Netflix. His first lead television role came in 2021, when he starred in GTV’s ‘The Lost Recipe’ alongside Mikee Quintos. 

Kira Marie Balinger, who’s born in the United Kingdom. has been an ABS-CBN talent since 2014 and she got her initial big break when she joined ‘The Story of Us’, a Philippine romantic melodrama aired in 2016 where she played Caityln, the half-sister of Kim Chiu’s character. Her main role in the “Book 2” of ‘Ang Sa Iyo ay sa Akin’ in 2020 made her even more popular. She’s also recently seen in ‘Darna’ as superpowered Luna from the planet Marte.
