According to a report by “People,” Kim Kardashian, a famous celebrity-socialite, is slated to feature in an upcoming suspenseful film crafted by screenwriter Natalie Krinsky (known for The Broken Hearts Gallery and Gossip Girl) and producer Bruna Papandrea (credited for Big Little Lies and Gone Girl) at Amazon MGM Studios. Krinsky is penning the script based on an original concept, specifically envisioning Kardashian for the lead role.

Kim is an American media personality, socialite, model, and businesswoman. She gained initial recognition through her friendship with Paris Hilton and her appearances in the reality television series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which follows the lives of her and her family. Over the years, Kim has built a massive following on social media and has expanded her career into various areas, including fashion, beauty, and entrepreneurship.

Just so you’re aware, this isn’t Kim’s debut in acting. She garnered attention back in 2023 with a recurring part in “American Horror Story: Delicate.” In the series, she portrayed Siobhan, an entertainment publicist for actress Anna Victoria Alcott (played by Emma Roberts). The 12th season of the horror series revolves around Roberts’ character’s challenges in balancing family aspirations with the demands of promoting a hit movie during awards season.

The reality TV personality featured in all five episodes of the series’ first half of the season, with the second half set to debut on April 3. This marks Kardashian’s return to acting for the screen after over a decade, aside from sporadic appearances as herself in films such as Ocean’s Eight (2018). Additionally, she provided her voice for the recent family-friendly Paw Patrol movies as Delores, a standard poodle. She also appeared in Tyler Perry’s 2013 film “Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.”

The business mogul revealed during the May 2023 Met Gala that she underwent acting training in anticipation of her role in American Horror Story.

“I think it’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow,” she said during the interview. 

“I’m so excited for the experience. “It’s a challenge – I like to challenge myself.”

Going back, Amazon MGM Studios has acquired the rights to an unnamed thriller film starring Kim. The movie is derived from an original concept by Natalie Krinsky, who will be responsible for both crafting the idea and penning the screenplay.

As of now, there have been no announcements regarding plot specifics, the title, or any additional casting for the forthcoming movie.

Apart from her upcoming thriller venture, Kim is set to take on a role in the comedy film “The Fifth Wheel,” which Netflix secured amidst fierce competition. Kim, known for her reality TV stardom, will headline the movie alongside a group of female actors.
