Kim Kardashian’s Skims to Launch First Standalone UK Store on London’s Regent Street

Kim Kardashian’s shapewear and lifestyle label, Skims, is making a bold transatlantic move with the announcement of its first standalone UK store.

Slated to open in summer 2026, the flagship will be located on the iconic Regent Street in Central London—one of the city’s premier shopping destinations known for housing high-profile brands like Liberty, Apple, Canada Goose, and & Other Stories.

Spanning an impressive 12,000 square feet, the store will occupy the historic 245–247 Regent Street property, which was formerly home to fashion retailer Ted Baker before its exit from the high street.

With a newly signed 10-year lease from The Crown Estate, this strategic placement places Skims at the heart of the capital’s retail activity, aligning with the brand’s ambition to extend its global reach and strengthen its presence in Europe.

Founded in 2019 by entrepreneur and media personality Kim Kardashian alongside Jens Grede, Skims has evolved from a shapewear startup to a fashion juggernaut. It was valued at a staggering US$4 billion following a successful seed funding round in 2023. While its UK availability has so far been limited to shop-in-shops at Harrods, Selfridges, and End Clothing, the standalone store will allow the brand to offer its full range of collections under one roof.

“This location enables us to build a more personal relationship with our UK customers,” said Skims co-founder and CEO Jens Grede in an interview with The Times. “It allows us to deliver the full Skims experience in a world-class retail destination, with authenticity and vision at the heart of our brand.”

The forthcoming London flagship represents more than just a retail expansion—it signals the brand’s commitment to elevating the in-store experience. With the new space, shoppers can expect a curated environment that reflects Skims’ modern, streamlined aesthetic.

The flagship will feature the brand’s signature offerings, including loungewear, shapewear, and everyday essentials, alongside its newer menswear line launched in 2023. Recent campaigns have spotlighted a range of high-profile figures such as Charli XCX, Jude Bellingham, and Usher, reinforcing Skims’ strong ties to contemporary culture.

This move also complements the brand’s ongoing growth in the United States. Last month, Skims opened its first West Coast flagship in Los Angeles, further building momentum toward its goal of creating immersive, physical shopping experiences across major global markets.

As the fashion world anticipates the London debut, Skims is positioning itself not just as a clothing brand but as a lifestyle entity—one that understands its customer, values innovation, and delivers comfort with a refined edge. With its roots in digital retail and celebrity-driven appeal, Skims’ entrance into Regent Street reflects a maturing vision—where strong design meets strategic brick-and-mortar presence.

With construction and concept development underway, all eyes will be on summer 2026 as London welcomes the first UK Skims store into its vibrant fashion fold.
