Lizquen fans can take a breather! Enrique Gil recently confirmed that he and his longtime girlfriend, Liza Soberano, are still a couple.

The Kapamilya actor assured that he and Liza are on good terms during an interview with ABS-CBN. 

“We’re good, we’re good.” He then stated , “You know, I’m busy with all my projects. She’s busy with all her projects naman. She is focusing more on international work, which is super, super good for her.”

“You know, kahit super busy kami, we still support each other no matter what. I’m super happy for her. Super happy for me, too,” Enrique added.

One may recall that rumors of the couple’s break up began when Ogie Diaz, Liza‘s former talent manager, announced on his vlog that the stars had gone their separate ways. 

“Actually, nakarating din sa’kin ‘yan na split na o break na si Enrique Gil at Liza Soberano. Parang nag-ugat ito doon sa mga pronouncement o ‘yung mga naging statements o ‘yung mga nakaraang interviews ni Liza, never niyang binanggit si Enrique Gil” Ogie said.

The host underscored it was Liza who initiated the break up in order to focus on her acting career in the States.

Liza and Enrique have been dating since 2014, and have starred in numerous projects together namely My Ex and Whys, Alone/Together, and Just the Way You Are.
