Kapamilya star and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” leading lady Lovi Poe and long-time British fiancé Montey Blencowe tied the knot in a garden wedding at the Cliveden House in Berkshire, England, last August 26 (UK time).
Lovi was a radiant bride while walking down the aisle, to be seen on Tim Yap’s Instagram post with a caption “I wanna savor this moment,” said @lovipoe as she walked down the aisle to become Mrs. @montyblencowe. The wedding has a hashtag “#LoviGoesfullMonty.”
Lovi expressed her ecstatic feeling about their momentous wedding. “I have found the one who makes my soul sing,” Mrs. Blencowe stated. It can be seen that her Instagram name is now “Lovi Poe Blencowe.”
Celebrity doctor Vicki Belo described Lovi as “the most relaxed bride” she has ever seen. Belo was accompanied by her husband Hayden Kho.
Aside from above-mentioned personalities, those who attended the wedding were the couple’s significant people in their lives, including Lovi’s half-sister Senator Grace Poe and producer-talent manager Leo Dominguez. The couple had been in a long-distance relationship.

One may recall that it was last August 8 when Lovi announced their engagement. “A couple of years ago, there were two coffees, one sunrise, and a ring. We’ve shared and celebrated this moment quietly with our family and closest friends, so we’re now more than happy to share this sweet #lifeupdate with you,” stated on Lovi’s Instagram post, including a clip wearing a ring near a beach.
Based on its website, the venue of the wedding, Cliveden House, was built and established in 1666 by the Second Duke of Buckingham as a gift to his mistress. After a long period of time, it was now converted into a five-star hotel where weddings are also held.
On the other hand, netizens are still buzzing with speculations about Lovi’s permanent potential exit from Batang Quiapo. Before the actual wedding, rumors were spreading that Lovi would no longer return as she plans to spend more time with his husband.
Lovi’s possible permanent departure from the series would definitely change the narratives of the story, considering her role as the love interest of “Tanggol” played by Coco Martin, and his unknown father “Don Ramon” portrayed by Christopher De Leon.
As of this writing, the production team has no confirmation or updates yet regarding Lovi’s decision.
