In a recent interview with Karen Davila, Marian Rivera shared a deeply personal aspect of her family life, revealing how Bible study has become an integral part of her daily routine. For Marian, this practice isn’t just about spiritual growth, but about strengthening the bond with her children and embedding values that she believes will guide them throughout their lives.

For Marian, the Bible study is not just about reading verses; it’s about reflection and understanding. She explains that after reading a verse, they take time to discuss its meaning and how it applies to their lives.

This practice is an essential part of her parenting philosophy, as she teaches her children that God should always be central in their lives. Marian emphasizes the importance of having a relationship with God, stating, “We need God in our lives—we can’t be without Him.”

This nightly ritual is deeply personal for Marian, shaped by her own experiences growing up. She shares that despite the challenges she faced during her childhood, including growing up in a broken family, the love and support from her grandmother helped her form a strong sense of family and faith.

Marian hopes to pass on these lessons to her children, instilling in them the importance of faith, love, and communication.

The Bible study sessions also serve as a way to foster open communication within the family. Marian makes it a point to have heart-to-heart talks with her children every night, asking them about their day and encouraging them to share their thoughts and feelings. This consistent practice helps her stay connected with her children, ensuring they know they can always talk to her, no matter what.

Marian’s dedication to her family’s spiritual growth and well-being is also evident in the way she and her husband, Dingdong Dantes, prioritize their relationship. She credits their strong marriage to the support and love they share. “We’re both happy for each other’s success,” Marian said, emphasizing that their relationship is built on mutual respect and encouragement.

This foundation of love and support extends to their parenting, with both Marian and Dingdong working together to ensure their children are raised in a nurturing and spiritually grounded environment.

Marian’s commitment to her family and faith highlights her belief that true fulfillment comes from a strong, loving, and spiritually grounded family. She openly shares how her relationship with Dingdong and their shared values help them navigate the challenges of life, both as individuals and as a couple. Through Bible study, Marian not only nurtures her children’s spiritual growth but also fosters a sense of unity and love within their home.
