Marvel releases movie and show dates in 2021!

Head up Marvel fans, you might want to jot this down! Marvel Studios finally released its titles and the dates of their upcoming movies this year. One may note that this was showcased via the “Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies” video.

“The world may change and evolve. But the one thing that will never change, we’re all part of one big family,” The American film and television studio stated.

And since we know that you’re all at the edge of your seats now, here are the release dates of the Marvel shows and movies set to come out this year. 

LOKI

Release Date: June 11, 2021

Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki, the unruly adoptive brother of Thor, in the TV series Loki. In the show, ‘the god of mischief’ will no longer be in his brother’s shadow, as he will now star in this Disney+ series. Following the theft incident at the Avenger: Endgame film back in 2019, Loki will be traveling through time and will be visiting different eras of real history, Marvel movie history, and Marvel comics history.

BLACK WIDOW

Release Date: July 9, 2021

Scarlett Johansson plays the role of Natasha Romanoff in the action-packed film, Black Widow. Natasha is forced to confront some dangerous conspiracies which is linked to her past. She also finds herself in Budapest where she encounters Yelena Belova, portrayed by Florence Pugh, and Red Guardian, played by David Harbour. Rachel Weisz also stars in this project as Melina, a spy who joined the Black Widow program.

SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS

Release Date: September 3, 2021

Simu Liu depicts the role of Shang-Chi in the upcoming Marvel movie Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Shang-Chi, a skilled assassin who was trained by his father Wenwu, must now face the past he tried to move on from. He left behind the life he had in order to live a more normal one. It can be noted that the film is based on Marvel’s 1970s comic book The Hands of Shang-Chi: Master of Kung-Fu. Other cast members include Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, and Ronny Chieng. The movie will also be written by Chinese-American screenwriter Dave Callaham, and directed by Asian-American filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton.

ETERNALS 

Release Date: November 5, 2021

Gemma Chan is an Eternal named Sersi, who has the power to fly, has incredible strength and immortality, and is able to do molecular manipulation. The Eternals are an alien race that have gathered to protect humans from the Deviants. The cast consists of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Kumail Nanjiani, Don Lee, Lia McHugh, and Kit Harington. The film will also include a gay character, who will reportedly be married to a man.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME 

Release Date: December 17, 2021

The movie centers on Peter Parker, portrayed by Tom Holland, who has spider-like powers and does what he can to make the world a safer place. Jacob Batalon will also return as  Ned, and Zendaya will return as MJ. The film will probably focus on Peter’s identity being revealed by J. Jonah Jameson. A few actors from the previous franchise such as Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are also expected to return to the movie to reprise their villainous roles.
