Miss Universe’s looks: Pia Wurtzbach radiates queenly beauty at Milan Fashion Week

Even after almost ten years since clinching the Miss Universe title, Pia Wurtzbach, a celebrated figure in the Philippines, continues to hold significant influence in the realms of pageantry, entertainment, and style.

Pia recently showcased her elegance on the global stage as she participated in the Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter Collection 2024 – 2025 from February 20 to 26, extending her beauty beyond borders to Europe and beyond.

As per accounts, the beauty queen emerged as one of the most prominent international figures at Milan Fashion Week 2023, generating an impressive media impact value of $3.4 million (approximately P192 million). She secured the second position, just behind the K-pop boy group ENHYPEN.

The event was a fusion of artistic expression and fashion, enhanced further by the presence of Miss Universe, whose appearance added a special touch, particularly when she donned the most stunning, opulent, and stylish outfits that garnered admiration from netizens. During the occasion, she graced shows such as Onitsuka Tiger, Fendi, Bally, and Max Mara fashion shows.

“Kicked off things with a roar,” she wrote on her Instagram post wearing all-black look.

When other options falter, adhering to an all-black ensemble is a principle followed by numerous fashion enthusiasts. It remains enduring and ensures a sophisticated aura. However, in Pia’s instance, adopting this style code is deliberate. The secret to carrying off the look lies in experimenting with layering and textures. Consider her attire at Onitsuka Tiger, a sheer garment complemented with combat boots and a metallic bag, or her modern pairing of a leather jacket and trousers while exploring the newest offerings from Furla.

At the Fendi showcase, Pia exuded a sense of royalty in a blue silk dress. Conversely, for the Max Mara presentation, she opted for a relaxed yet chic ensemble, sporting a brown knitted mini-dress for a comfortable and laid-back vibe. Pia was seen in a draped gown as well. Additionally, she showcased another delicate pastel look with a custom blush coat dress by Mark Bumgarner while wandering the streets of Milan.

Earth tones exude opulence, and that’s precisely the vibe Pia emanates with her knit ensembles at the MaxMara and Missoni presentations. Particularly noteworthy are her trench coat ensemble and layered appearance in a rich chocolate hue at Loro Piana and Bally, respectively, which are among our top picks.

Red, a color symbolizing passion, vigor, and affection, is undeniably striking. Pia dazzled in a fiery red Gucci outfit complemented by the brand’s Ancora bag. At Bulgari, she sported yet another red ensemble, a commanding pleated power suit crafted by Mark Bumgarner. From red, she switched it up with a clean all-white look for Genny.

Pia penned a message while sharing a compilation of clips from her Milan Fashion Week journey: “Fashion’s absolutely rocking my world. It’s fun to play dress up.”
