Songwriter Jason Marvin Hernandez revealed that he and Singer Moira Dela Torre have called it quits!

The former couple made the announcement in a joint statement via social media, saying they have decided to go their separate ways after 3 years of marriage. 

The statement read, “It is with a heavy heart that after three years of marriage, we announce that we are parting ways. Our love and respect for each other remains. We request for privacy during this difficult time.” 

Jason also posted a lengthy caption which wrote, “This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write” and he is trying to “be better. Three years ago, I married my best friend with the intent of spending the rest of my life with her. Though my love for her has always been genuine, a few months ago, I confessed to Moira that I have been unfaithful to her during our marriage.”

“I believe that she deserved to know the truth rather than continue down a ‘peaceful’ but dishonest path. I take full responsibility and I’m doing my best to be better. From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry for everyone I hurt. Especially Moi.” he added.

Meanwhile, Moira uploaded a black photo on her Instagram account and has unfollowed Jason.

One may note that in April 2022, rumors began to spread that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks, however, Jason debunked the claims. He even took to Twitter and said, “1. We’re still married 2. Hindi nangaliwa si Moira 3. We both support Ms. Leni 4. Walang nag nakawan ng pera 5. God is good.”

It can be recalled that Moira and Jason were married at Narra Hill in Tagaytay last January 2019, but held their civil wedding before their garden wedding on January 8, 2019.

The two started off as best friends, but they eventually confirmed that they were in a relationship on February 15, 2017.
