Kapamilya singer-actress Angeline Quinto and her longtime non-showbiz partner, Nonrev Daquina, have committed to spend their lives together. The pair, both devout followers of the Black Nazarene, solemnized their union with vows exchanged at Quiapo Church in Manila City on Thursday afternoon, April 25.

Dressed in a radiant mermaid-style gown crafted by Filipino designer Neric Beltran, the bride made her entrance down the aisle, accompanied by baby Sylvio, the couple’s first child. The celebration was enriched by the presence of close friends from the industry. Sarah Geronimo took on the role of flower girl, Erik Santos acted as the ring bearer, and Vice Ganda stood as the Man of Honor.

Their principal sponsors included notable figures such as Manila Mayor Honeylet Lacuña, Zsazsa Padilla, Charo Santos-Concio, Vicky Belo, Regine Velasquez, Pinky Tobiano, Laurenti Dyogi, and Martin Nievera.

Quinto, expressing pride in her Manila roots, integrated elements of her hometown into her wedding. She selected a jeepney, an iconic symbol of transportation in Manila, as her bridal car. Additionally, she decided to hold the wedding reception in the Maynila Ballroom at the historic Manila Hotel.

Angeline delighted her fans with an unexpected gift: a new single titled “Salamat Ika’y Dumating,” co-written with ABS-CBN Music Creative Director Jonathan Manalo. Inspired by her affection for her husband, the song was beautifully performed by the Philippine Madrigal Singers during their wedding march.

Almost a year following Mama Bob’s passing, the singer discovered a newfound purpose upon learning she was expecting her first child with her then non-showbiz partner of over a year, Nonrev. According to her, they were introduced by a mutual non-showbiz friend from Sampaloc, Manila. Their initial interaction was through a video call, during which she was captivated by his charming smile. They met face-to-face for the first time during a group outing at a popular restaurant in Quezon City just before the pandemic struck in March 2020. Instant sparks ignited between them, leading to continuous communication ever since.

He stood beside her during Mama Bob’s stroke in September 2020 until her tragic passing. Since then, he vowed to support and love her as her mother did. However, it wasn’t until February 2022, two months after Angeline’s surprising disclosure, that they unveiled his face and identity for the first time in her Instagram post and vlog showcasing her maternity shoot.

In May 2022, the couple disclosed that their son Sylvio is Nonrev’s fourth child, as he has three daughters from his previous two relationships.

In September 2022, they became engaged. In a separate interview towards the end of last year, Angeline revealed that she and her fiancé had been discussing marriage and were considering having their wedding at Quiapo Church, as both of them are devoted followers of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno.

In addition to selecting Quiapo as the focal point for her wedding, reports stated that Angeline became the first celebrity to tie the knot at Quiapo Church.
