On October 4, 2024, Olivia was spotted exploring the historic district of Intramuros, a testament to her appreciation for Filipino culture. Accompanied by her boyfriend, British actor Louis Partridge, she participated in a Bambike tour, riding a bamboo bicycle through the picturesque streets of the Walled City.

This eco-friendly initiative not only aligns with Rodrigo’s values but also highlights the beauty of sustainable tourism in the Philippines.

Fans were thrilled when they unexpectedly encountered Olivia during her tour. One lucky fan, Kady Lautengco, shared her excitement on social media, describing Olivia as a “humble queen” who graciously posed for photos.

Kady’s TikTok video documenting their encounter quickly went viral, garnering nearly 900,000 views and showcasing Olivia’s down-to-earth personality. “Bambike tour turned into an unexpected meet and greet!” Kady exclaimed, expressing her joy at seeing the pop star just before her concert.

Rodrigo’s love for Filipino culture was evident from the moment she arrived in the country. One of her first stops was at Romulo’s Cafe, where she indulged in halo-halo, a popular Filipino dessert. Sharing a photo on Instagram, she expressed her excitement about being back in the Philippines, complete with purple heart emojis that have become synonymous with her brand.

Her concert on October 5 was part of a special “Silver Star Show,” with all net proceeds from ticket sales going to Jhpiego Philippines, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health services for women and girls in underserved areas.

Tickets were priced affordably at ₱1,500, making it accessible for many fans while ensuring that funds would benefit those in need.
