In a recent interview, British comedian and actor Russell Brand had a thought-provoking conversation with OnlyFans creator Lily Phillips, in which he encouraged her to see herself as a “child of God” and to recognize the sacredness of her body.

Brand, who has been vocal about his spiritual transformation, expressed his belief that Phillips is special and deserving of being cherished and respected in all aspects of life.

Brand, 49, spoke candidly about his past, admitting that he was once deeply immersed in a promiscuous lifestyle. He acknowledged that his younger self would have viewed Phillips in a purely physical way.

However, since his spiritual awakening and baptism in 2024, he said he now sees people differently and feels a duty to offer guidance and support when possible. He told Phillips that if she ever found herself in a situation where she felt lost, there would always be a “path and a light” available to her.

Throughout their conversation, Brand referenced biblical teachings, notably quoting 1 Corinthians 6:19, which describes the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. He urged Phillips to consider the deeper impact of her choices, not just on her life but on her soul. “You are special,” he told her. “You deserve to be cherished and treasured in every aspect of your life.”

Despite Phillips maintaining that she enjoys her work and does not feel exploited, Brand reassured her that she always has the option to take a different path if she ever chooses to do so.

Phillips, 23, has gained attention for her career in adult content and her stated goal of reaching 1,000 partners. She has reportedly earned millions from her online platform and has expressed no regrets about her choices.

During the interview, she emphasized that she does not feel pressured into her work and sees it as a personal choice that grants her independence. She described OnlyFans as a platform that allows individuals to have control over their careers without intermediaries.

Brand’s conversation with Phillips reflects his growing interest in spirituality and his efforts to engage with people from different walks of life. Since his baptism, he has increasingly used his platform to discuss faith, redemption, and personal transformation. His approach to discussing these topics often includes engaging with individuals who might not traditionally be associated with religious conversations.

While Phillips did not express an immediate change in her outlook, Brand’s words left room for reflection. He suggested that over time, perspectives can shift, and people can come to new realizations about their lives.

His message was one of hope, reminding her that she is not defined by her past choices and that she has inherent value beyond external success or financial achievements.
