The fans and supporters of actress-TV host Maja Salvador rejoiced when she announced on social media that she is pregnant and expecting a child with her husband, Rambo Nuñez.

In a Christmas-themed baby reveal, the couple showcased that they received an early Christmas gift, and their family is growing. Maja gave a glimpse of her baby bump. “Christmas came early 🎄🎁👶🏻,” she said on her Instagram post. 

Another one, “Our growing family 🎄👶🏻” showing her baby bump with Rambo and pet dogs.

“The best Christmas present we could ever ask for 🎁👶🏻,” she added.  “Kuya Duke soon! 🤍 pero seloso naman ang baby boy duke namin 🐾 🤭,” Maja said, pertaining to their fur baby. 

Closest friends and colleagues in showbiz extended their greetings such as Kakai Bautista, Gelli De Belen, Alex Gonzaga, Jolina Magdangal, Karen Davila, Amy Perez, Catriona Gray, among others. 

Maja-Rambo love story:

The couple got married at The Apurva Kempinski, a five-star resort in Bali, Indonesia, on July 31, 2023, but they had a secret wedding ceremony in Manila on February 14, which coincidentally was their anniversary.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in March 2019, Maja disclosed that she and Rambo were previously in a relationship when she was 21 years old. However, their relationship only lasted for four months back then.

But, as they say, love is sweeter the second time around. 

As Maja was just starting her career in showbiz, she decided to prioritize her work and focus her attention on it. The accomplished actress mentioned that she made an exception to her rule of not rekindling relationships with ex-boyfriends when she and Rambo reconnected in the latter part of 2018.

Later, on February 14, 2019, Maja shared that she spent Valentine’s Day with a non-showbiz guy whom she had dated nine years before that particular day. It happened to be the opportune moment for them to rekindle their relationship.

At that point, Maja had already solidified her position as a recognized dramatic actress in ABS-CBN, and Rambo had also established himself professionally in the realms of marketing, events, and PR. Maja mentioned to herself that sometimes there needs to be an “exemption to the rules,” so when the opportunity for reconciliation with Rambo arose, she granted it. 

Moreover, she stated that the reason for their initial breakup wasn’t serious, unlike with some of her other ex-boyfriends. One of the aspects she cherishes about Rambo is how his family instantly embraced her with love and acceptance.

Another thing that Maja appreciates about Rambo is his strong family orientation and close relationship with his mother. She believes that one of the factors a woman should look for in a man to marry is someone who is respectful and loving towards his parents. 

She also mentioned that his family is exceptionally kind! Even though Rambo isn’t a celebrity like Maja, the skilled actress mentioned that the nature of her work never posed an issue for them. Previously, she confessed to having boyfriends who struggled to comprehend the necessity of performing intimate scenes with onscreen partners in some of her projects.

But this time, Maja made a concerted effort to ensure her boyfriend understood how much she values their relationship. Over the years they’ve been a couple, it was evident that Maja and Rambo were deeply committed to their relationship.

In 2021, they ventured into business together, establishing Crown Artist Management. Initially focused on talent management, the company later expanded into TV production.

One of their priced talents is John Lloyd Cruz. They also have Miles Ocampo who explored her hosting stints via “Eat Bulaga/E.A.T.” On April 17, 2022, Maja and Rambo became engaged while on vacation with their respective families in El Nido, Palawan.

While engaged in an Easter egg hunt, Rambo proposed to Maja in the presence of their loved ones. Overwhelmed with joy, Maja tearfully said, “Yes!” And the rest is history. Congratulations, Mommy Maja and Daddy Rambo!
