Pia Wurtzbach slays with beauty queens at Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week 2023 did not only feature the unveiling of the Spring/Summer 2024 collections but also marked a significant reunion eagerly anticipated by pageant enthusiasts: Pia Wurtzbach and Ariadna Gutiérrez, Miss Colombia 2015, the contestant who was mistakenly crowned Miss Universe on that unforgettable evening, came together in the fashion hub of the world.
Who can forget the moment when the host Steve Harvey mistakenly declared Ariadna Gutiérrez of Colombia as the victor, instead of Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines? Once more, she was photographed alongside Ariadna, who was the first runner-up in the unforgettable and historic Miss Universe 2015 competition.
This gathering took place at an event hosted by the upscale beauty brand Lancome. The two snapped for a photo together, dispelling rumors of a rift that had been circulating in the pageant world for years.
“The reunion you’ve all been waiting for,” Pia captioned on her Instagram post, showing a photo with her.
Aside from Ariadna, the Filipina beauty also had a reunion with Iris Mittenaere of France, who succeeded her as Miss Universe in 2016. Additionally, she was also able to meet Estefania Soto from Puerto Rico, who was a Top 10 finalist in Miss Universe 2020, and Flora Coquerel from France, who achieved a Top 5 finish in Miss Universe 2015, at The Louvre Museum’s Lancome event.
Wurtzbach is relishing her time at European Fashion Week, where she has been attending shows in both Milan and Paris. Also, Mrs. Jauncey has just unveiled her debut book, “Queen of the Universe.”
