Many are wondering why “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis was absent at the return of “The ABS-CBN Ball 2023,” which took place on Saturday night, September 30, at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City.

Numerous netizens, especially her fans and supporters, are still looking forward to what she will wear and her look as she walks the red carpet at this year’s most-anticipated showbiz event of the Kapamilya Network, especially now that it’s finally returning.

It can be recalled that Anne’s attire and appearance were widely discussed when she attended the second year of GMA Gala 2023 on July 22 at The Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, along with her It’s Showtime co-hosts.

A brief glance at her Instagram profile would reveal her presence in France, where she took part in Paris Fashion Week. Notably, Anne was involved in the Loewe event as the brand unveiled its spring-summer collection.

“Loved this collection and getting to see my fave peeps I haven’t seen since Seoul. Merci @bryanboy for introducing me to THE brilliant @jonathan.anderson. What a way to kickoff [the Paris Fashion Week],” she wrote in the caption of one of her Instagram posts.

And of course, when Paris Fashion Week is the topic of discussion, the Kapuso star and fashion icon Heart Evangelista, cannot be excluded from the conversation.

And true enough, they crossed paths at that glamorous and most-anticipated event for the fashion industry. Anne posted a collection of images from the Loewe fashion show on her Instagram. Among the images was a snapshot featuring herself and Heart, both elegantly adorned in stunning Loewe attire.

Mrs. Heussaff donned a flowing white gown adorned with a circular gold embellishment, while Mrs. Escudero opted for Loewe’s black and white sports bra paired with khaki shorts and brown boots. Last April, Anne and Heart came together in New York for the reopening celebration of Tiffany & Co.’s legendary Manhattan store on Fifth Avenue.

Anne posted a picture on her Instagram Stories featuring herself, Heart and Heart’s husband Senator Chiz Escudero, and Anton San Diego, the editor of a Philippines-based lifestyle magazine.  “Team PH,” she stated in the Instagram post caption.

“So happy [I] have these guys to be with! It’s been a minute since I’ve been to something so special (like pre-mamahood) so having them has helped me get that social [butterfly] in me out and about again.”

They have shared a longstanding friendship, and their initial collaboration took place back in 2004 when they both worked on the ABS-CBN series “Hiram.” Interestingly, this marked Heart’s debut in a teleserye with the Kapamilya network.

Ever since she began to garner increased recognition in the fashion industry, Heart mentioned in a 2020 interview that she opted to maximize this opportunity for the time being.

Meanwhile, Anne has persistently pursued her acting, “singing,” and hosting career and maintains a prominent onscreen presence to this day. Aside from Anne and Heart, Filipina pride and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey also attended the mentioned event.
