Prada has officially unveiled its new flagship men’s store at 720 Fifth Avenue, marking a bold step in the brand’s continued commitment to innovation in fashion. The opening, held on a Thursday night in early May 2025, became the talk of the town, with a star-studded guest list and a stunning new store space. 

The two-story, 13,000-square-foot boutique exudes Prada’s signature sleek minimalism, with gleaming mint-green interiors inspired by Prada Beauty’s iconic color, reflecting the timeless aesthetic the brand is known for.

The evening attracted a variety of bold-faced names in the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and beyond. Celebrities such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Tracee Ellis Ross, Claire Danes, and Paloma Elsesser were dressed to the nines in full Prada ensembles. 

Their presence was a testament to the brand’s ever-growing influence, with each guest effortlessly embodying the style and sophistication Prada is known for.

Upon entering the space, attendees were greeted by an eye-catching display of the latest Prada collections, including crocheted crossbody bags, satin-paneled sneakers, and raffia-soled clogs. 

There was a palpable excitement in the air as guests eagerly explored the expansive selection of men’s fragrances, belts, bags, and statement accessories. The ground floor quickly became the center of attention, with attendees soaking in the various designs and debating the finest choices for their next wardrobe update.

The upper floors housed Prada’s more tailored offerings, with sleek suits and shirts available for made-to-order fittings. The display of exquisite Prada homewares, as well as a luxurious array of luggage, added an extra touch of sophistication to the space. 

One particular highlight was a stunning green marble bathroom, which quickly became a hotspot for Instagram selfies, further cementing the store’s status as a hub of style and design.

As the evening transitioned into night, the after-party kicked off just down the block at an undisclosed venue. The energy was palpable as DJ Arman Nafeei set the tone with beats that flowed seamlessly into a performance by Grammy-nominated artist Giveon. 

Clad in Prada sunglasses, Giveon’s set had the crowd captivated, his smooth vocals elevating the atmosphere even further. The gathering indulged in exquisite bites like beef tartare and zucchini arancini, sipping on negronis and margaritas while sharing their favorite moments of the night.

Prada’s newest outpost has certainly set a new bar for luxury retail in New York City. Not only does it offer an exceptional shopping experience, but it also creates a space where fashion lovers can gather, share their passion for the brand, and celebrate the intersection of art and style.

With its impeccable design, curated collections, and the presence of high-profile figures, this opening has solidified Prada’s status as a major player in the fashion world.
