Company ranks No. 202 on the 2026 list, up 10 places from the previous year and retaining its lead among Chinese construction machinery companies

XUZHOU, China, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — XCMG Machinery (SHE: 000425) attended the 2026 Fortune China 500 Summit in Chengdu on Oct. 22, joining business leaders, entrepreneurs and scholars to discuss how companies can strengthen their competitiveness. The event followed the July release of the 2026 Fortune China 500 ranking, in which XCMG placed No. 202, up 10 places from the previous year and retaining its leading position among Chinese construction machinery companies.

Using a methodology consistent with the Fortune Global 500, the Fortune China 500 includes both listed and unlisted companies, providing a reference for tracking the development of China’s largest businesses.

Shen Yan, chair of XCMG Machinery’s labor union, accepted the Fortune China 500 certificate and exchanged views with fellow participants on strengthening corporate competitiveness.

For XCMG, the ranking provides a benchmark for progress as it continues to strengthen its competitiveness through transformation. The company will continue to advance higher-end products, intelligent technologies, green development, global operations and service-oriented businesses, translating these priorities into practical action and building new strengths to support the development of a world-class construction machinery industry cluster.

Embedding Sustainability in Business Development

Beyond its Fortune China 500 ranking, XCMG was again included in Fortune China’s ESG Impact List this year, remaining the only construction machinery company on the list.

Its sustainability efforts span green manufacturing, new energy solutions for different operating scenarios, and low-carbon supply chains. These areas form part of the company’s long-term approach to environmental, social and governance practices and support its broader green transformation.

Strengthening Talent Development

Talent development and organizational capabilities also support XCMG’s transformation. On Oct. 20, XCMG was recognized in both the annual best employer and best employer for ESG practices categories of Forbes China’s 2026 Best Employers selection. This marked its second consecutive year receiving the annual best employer recognition.

As its business evolves, XCMG is upgrading its human resources system through professional skills development, organizational and process improvements, and digital transformation. These efforts aim to provide clearer career pathways and broader development opportunities for employees.

Through integrated recruitment, structured training and market-based incentives, the company supports professional development, cross-functional exploration and international work experience across its global operations and diverse businesses.
