The two stars took to social media and issued the same statement regarding the split on November 18.

“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.”

“We also appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward,” they added.

This certainly came as a surprise as Shawn and Camila packed on the PDA in Miami Beach, looking happy as ever.

They also spent Halloween together this year and even showed off their ‘Day Of The Dead’ costumes.

It can be recalled that the two stars have been friends since 2014, however, they made their relationship public back in 2019, after they were spotted walking hand in hand.

In 2015, they teamed up for the song “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” then four years later released the song “Señorita.”

The hit single bagged an American Music Award for collaboration of the year and received a Grammy nomination for best pop duo/group performance.
