Steve Harvey is back and will be hosting the Miss Universe pageant this year!

The veteran host will return onstage this December, which will be held in Israel, but no exact date has been confirmed.

It may be recalled that back in 2015, Steve mistakenly announced towards the end of the night that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was the new Miss Universe, when it was Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach who won the title.

Steve apologized for the major blunder and stressed that he will take full responsibility for his actions. Since then, the tv personality became a mainstay in the competition.

In spite of all the backlash, Steve and Pia made light of what had happened in the past when they were reunited on stage again.

In 2021, Steve missed the 69th Miss Universe competition held in May, as the event was hosted by Olivia Culpo and Mario Lopez. Although, Steve assured everyone that he would be back for the next pageant.

He even took to Twitter and said, “I’ll miss you guys. But I’ll see you for the 70th!”
