Kapuso Primetime King and certified Box Office King Dingdong Dantes chooses to stay with GMA Network, as he extends his partnership with his home network for several years. 

The contract renewal was witnessed by Kapuso executives, led by GMA Network Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Network President and Chief Executive Officer Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., GMA Network Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, GMA Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilibeth Rasonable, GMA Network Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso, GMA Executive Vice President for GMA Pictures and First Vice President for Public Affairs Nessa Valdellon; GMA Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development and concurrent Chief Risk Officer and Head of Program Support Regie C. Bautista, and Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Sales and Marketing Group Lizelle G. Maralag.

Gozon gave a heartfelt thanks to Dingdong for choosing his mother network again. 

“Ako na mismo magpapasalamat na pumirma siya ulit, ni-renew ang kaniyang contract sa GMA. Sa tingin ko, ‘pag magaling ka ay lalo kang gagaling ‘pag sumama ka sa GMA. Ang exhibit one ay none other than Dingdong Dantes. Pero ito lang ang masasabi ko. Hindi pa niya nararating ang pinakatuktok ng kaniyang mararating. Hindi kamukha kong matanda na, pababa na, si Dingdong pataas pa. Kaya Dingdong, maraming-maraming salamat. And I hope GMA and you will go higher together!”

Dingdong Dantes found himself getting emotional as he read the congratulatory messages sent by GMA executives. He also conveyed gratitude for the connections he forged during his journey, especially with the production teams, on-set staff, and fellow actors, noting that they contributed to making each chapter of his time at GMA unforgettable.

Dingdong is a prominent Filipino actor, television presenter, film producer, and model. He gained fame through various television shows and films in the Philippines and has become one of the most recognizable faces in the country’s entertainment industry. Dingdong is known for his work in both drama and comedy genres, and he has also been involved in humanitarian and social advocacy efforts.

Prior to achieving widespread recognition, Dingdong appeared in his initial television series on GMA Network, featuring in the youth-oriented program “T.G.I.S.”

Following this, he took on lead roles in numerous GMA Network series including “Marimar,” “Encantadia,” “Alyas Robinhood,” “Dyesebel,” among others. Additionally, he has starred in several acclaimed films, including the recent “Rewind,” the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time produced by Star Cinema, the movie outlet of ABS-CBN. 

Dingdong also met his spouse, the Kapuso Primetime Queen and Box Office Queen, Marian Rivera, through GMA Network, notably during their collaboration on “Marimar.” Now, they are together in the second season of their sitcom “Jose and Maria Bonggang Villa.”

Dingdong also serves as the host of “Amazing Earth” and “Family Feud Philippines.” Congrats, Dingdong!
