Millie Bobby Brown is feeling the love from her Stranger Things family. The actress announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi on Tuesday, April 11.

This was done via a sweet Instagram post showing a giant rock on her finger with the caption: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey. I want ’em all <3.” These are the lyrics from Lover, a Taylor Swift song.

Her co-stars have wished her well including Noah Schapp, who shared the post on his Instagram story and wrote’ “My best friend is engaged.”  Jamie Campbell Bower also chimed in with a series of red hearts and Cara Buono wrote, “Beautiful, I’m so happy for you.”

Jake echoed Millie’s pronouncement by posting a photo of him hugging her at the beach, captioned “Forever <3”.

Jake and Millie sparked dating rumors in 2021 and they made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the BAFTAs in March 2022.  In October 2022, Jake joined Millie on the red carpet for the world premiere of her film Enola Holmes 2. 

Even though many fans are supportive, some think that she is too young to get married. One may note that Millie is just 19 years old while Jake is 20.

Millie gained global recognition for playing Eleven in the hit Netflix series, Starngers Things. The road to stardom was a bit of a challenge because the British young actress was born with a partial healing loss which got worse until she eventually became deaf.

Jake, a New Jersey native, will be making his acting debut in the upcoming romantic comedy Sweethearts, which has reportedly finished shooting in 2022, and has a to be announced release date.

The Gen-Z pair first connected with each other via Instagram, and a real-life friendship blossomed between them. Both flaunt each other via social media posts containing public displays of affection, romantic tributes, concert escapades, and red carpet looks.

One of the sweetest posts of the two is Jake’s celebration of Millie’s birthday last February 20, with the couple ending up sleeping by the pool together.
