Strengthening Transnational Education in the Philippines Through Research

Last 02 July 2025, the British Council Philippines, in partnership with Professor Karen Mpamhanga of the University of Hertfordshire, gathered more than 100 higher education leaders, internationalisation officers, TNE practitioners, and representatives from national government agencies involve in TNE practice in the Philippines at the CHED Auditorium in Quezon City for a symposium-workshop titled “Shaping the Future of Transnational Education through TNE-focused Research.”

The event discussed and explored gaps and areas of opportunity for the further development of TNE policy, practice, and strategy, as well as initiate the development of a TNE research agenda for the Philippines.
