The City of Taguig continues to bring essential government services closer to its residents with the inauguration of the newly built Western Bicutan Health Center and Multi-Purpose Building on Wednesday, October 8, at the TUP Compound, Brgy. Western Bicutan.
The five-storey facility provides a convenient and functional space for residents to access public health, education, and community services. It also includes areas that promote wellness, recreation, and child development.

The building features a daycare center, reception area, and public safety office on the ground floor; a TB DOTS room on the second floor; and rooms for maternal care, family planning, and breastfeeding on the third floor. The fourth floor houses consultation and nurses’ rooms with a waiting area, while the fifth floor includes the dental clinic and building management office.
A half-court basketball area offers residents space for recreational use. There’s also an area for indoor sports such as table tennis, chess, darts, and Zumba. The rooftop may be used for various community activities, while the Multi-Purpose Building also serves as an evacuation center during emergencies.
Mayor Lani Cayetano, who led the inauguration and blessing ceremony, said the new facility is another step toward ensuring that every Taguigeño has access to quality services:
“Sa bawat pagawaing bayan, ang panalangin natin sa Panginoon ay magamit ito ayon sa Kaniyang purpose. Dinidedicate natin ito para maserve niya ang purpose niya—na maging lugar ng pag-aaruga, paggabay, at inspirasyon para sa ating mga kabataan at pamilya.”
