Fans couldn’t get enough of the Grammy winner at her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, Missouri where her music video “I Can See You”  made its debut, before it made its official launch on Youtube.

Audiences were taken by surprise when the singer announced that her former flame, alongside Joey King and Presley Cash, would also be starring  in the music video. Swift had nothing but kind words for Lautner before calling him on stage.

“He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the ‘Speak Now’ album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video.”

She went on and said, “He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name.”

Meanwhile, the former Twilight star stressed how much he looks up to the singer and said, “I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer, but truly for the human you are.”

“You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you,” he added.

One may recall that the two dated back in 2009, and during that same year starred as high school sweethearts in the romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day.
