The return of *Squid Game* for its highly anticipated second season is set for December 26, 2024. Following the explosive success of the first season, which became Netflix’s most-watched series, creator Hwang Dong-hyuk promises a fresh round of deadly competition that will delve deeper into the harrowing world of the games.

The inaugural season introduced viewers to Seong Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, a down-on-his-luck man who participates in a series of deadly children’s games for a chance to win a life-changing cash prize.

The season featured a diverse cast, including Park Hae-soo as Cho Sang-woo and Jung Ho-yeon as Kang Sae-byeok, both of whom faced tragic fates. The show’s gripping narrative and emotional depth captivated audiences, leading to numerous awards and a global fanbase.
