As the nation gathered for the State of the Nation Address (SONA), the red carpet unfurled not only for politicians and policymakers but also for local artists and designers. The textured bodice and mesh embellishment around the chest and sleeves added a touch of sophistication. Meanwhile, Senator Escudero complemented her look with a classic all-white Barong Tagalog.
Senator Pia Cayetano and Angelica Revilla are modern Filipiniana Beauties. Senator Pia Cayetano graced the event in a baro’t saya-inspired dress by Joel Acebuche. The rainbow pin she wore symbolized hope and inclusivity. Angelica Revilla, wife of Congressman Jolo Revilla, stunned in a blush pleated modern Filipiniana by Isle. Brian Poe Llamanzares and Emmanuel Aglipay Villar: Advocacy Through Attire. Brian Poe Llamanzares, son of Senator Grace Poe, proudly wore a Llamanzares Barong adorned with a modified Batok pattern. This piece showcased the talents of Lumban’s famous embroiderers.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Aglipay Villar chose a dusty blue terno by Mark Bumgarner, emphasizing sustainability and timeless design.
