Wednesday Season 2 Announcement Breaks the Internet

Netflix has finally announced that season 2 is coming for Wednesday!
With such strong ratings, the spin-off actually went on to become the third most-watched series ever in its first month, with viewers across the globe tuning in to see how Wednesday’s misadventures will affect the world around her. It has accumulated 1.2 billion hours – just right on the heels of the fourth season of ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Stranger Things..
The Independent first reported about Wednesday possibly porting to Amazon Prime Video, but two individuals with knowledge about the situation actually clarified with the news outlet that the theory is untrue, since the MGM deal was made prior to it being sold to Amazon in May for $8.5 billion.
Just a mere day after the announcement, the teaser, which shows Wednesday reacting to the viral dance memes in the internet, has reached 7.2 million views.
One of the top questions in viewer’s minds is “Will Tyler return in season 2?” Tyler is one of Wednesday’s love interests who turned to be the Hyde, an abominable creature, and the real villain of the series. At the end of the first season, Tyler gets taken away by the authorities in a van.
There is a big possibility of him returning due to two things. One is a redemption arc and him trying to patch up things with Wednesday. The second theory revolves around him coming back to the town of Jericho with his mother, him he got his Hyde abilities from, to wreak havoc again. It is possible that she left on her own to protect her family from the unpredictability of her transformation.
Take note that the second season is coming and most likely it won’t be until 2024, since filming will take about a year and there’s post-production work.
