What Makes These Bvlgari Jewels the Crown of Its Sicilian Showcase?

When Bvlgari unveiled its Polychroma high jewellery collection in Sicily, the message was clear: this was not just a showcase, it was a cultural crescendo. With 250 new pieces and 60 crossing into seven-figure territory, the Roman maison transformed colour into language, and gemstones into living art.
From celestial grandeur to floral opulence, these five showstoppers crowned the collection—and redefined the high jewellery landscape.
1. Cosmic Vault Necklace
At the apex of the collection is the Cosmic Vault Necklace, a dramatic celebration of Rome’s spiritual skyline and starry night skies. Anchored by a 123.35-carat Sri Lankan sugarloaf sapphire, this piece is an homage to heritage, geometry, and heavenly inspiration.
Surrounded by 331 buff-top sapphires and 13 diamond drops, the necklace flows with over 200 articulated elements that drape like silk. More than an accessory, it’s a wearable monument—one that pulses with sacred beauty and timeless architecture.
2. Celestial Mosaic Necklace
A piece steeped in both archaeology and artistry, the Celestial Mosaic Necklace draws from Jericho’s Tree of Life mosaic and Mughal design codes. Its centrepiece: a 131.21-carat Tajikistan spinel—one of the largest and rarest in existence.
Complemented by tourmalines, emeralds, onyx, and diamonds, the necklace forms a dazzling, multicultural mosaic. With nearly 200 interlocking components, it hugs the neck like a museum-worthy masterpiece, radiating harmony, symbolism, and world-spanning elegance.
3. Polychromatic Bloom Necklace
Nothing captures the heart of the Polychroma collection like the Polychromatic Bloom Necklace. Described by Creative Director Lucia Silvestri as emblematic of the line, it’s an explosion of botanical brilliance.
A trio of oversized cabochon gems—rubellite (106.36 carats), peridot (55.52 carats), and tanzanite (55.11 carats)—form the heart of this piece. Set in rose gold and surrounded by gemstone petals, it’s both sculptural and playful. With over 500 handcrafted components, this floral marvel is joyful, wild, and unapologetically feminine.
4. Essence of Yellow Trombino Ring
Bulgari returns to its roots with the Essence of Yellow Trombino Ring, reviving a design first seen in 1928. But this is no vintage throwback. At its core is a 45-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond—ultra-rare and radiating solar brilliance.
Opting for an emerald Asscher cut instead of a typical brilliant cut, Bvlgari imbues the stone with sharp geometry and bold modernism. Platinum settings and 42 step-cut diamonds frame the centre gem like rays of sunlight, turning a historic silhouette into a modern icon.
5. Magnus Emerald Necklace
“Magnus,” Latin for “great,” is no overstatement. This commanding necklace features a jaw-dropping 241.06-carat Colombian emerald—the largest ever used by Bvlgari. Suspended like a floating gem of mythic proportions, it’s balanced by a classic diamond rivière and bold architectural forms.
The design draws on both Renaissance richness and 1970s glamour, delivering a piece that feels both ancient and avant-garde. It’s not just jewellery—it’s a legacy in emerald green.
Together, these five creations elevate Polychroma into a landmark collection—bold, historic, and unmistakably Bvlgari.
