What Went Down at the 4th Philippine Faces of Success Event

RDH Entertainment Network together with Best Magazine gave accolades to celebrities and society achievers at the 4th Philippine Faces of Success held last December 3 at the Teatrino located in Promenade, Greenhills.

In his opening remarks, its head honcho Richard D. Hinola addressed the primary function of the award, which is not just to celebrate success, but to also support underserved groups: “Hindi lahat pasosyal. Ang sarap ng feeling na nakakatulong ka sa iba.”

For the opening performance, The Voice Kids alumnus Reynan Dal-anay, a Manobo from Mindanao, sang his rendition of ‘Sana Ngayong Pasko’. Honoree PAO Chief Persida Rueda Acosta, in her inspirational speech, lauded the charity efforts of the award-giving body, calling it “gawaing banal at makalangit”. P-pop group Press & Play also had an intermission number.

Celebrity awardees are: Nadine Lustre, Jake Cuenca, Yasmien Kurdi, Sanya Lopez, Angel Guardian, Devon Seron, Sean de Guzman, Daiana Menezes, Alma Concepcion, Diane de Mesa, John Nite, Joaquin Domagoso, and Azenith Briones.

Other movers and shakers of the society were awarded such as: USEC Niña Taduran, Aster Amoyo (Youtube personality and seasoned publicist), Benny Andaya (entertainment reporter and influencer), John Fontanilla (radio DJ), Sean Lim (TV and commercial director), Concon Siñel (events director), Eugene Asis (SPEEd president), Marc Cubales (print model and entrepreneur), Risa Dormiendo (beauty queen), Ma. Katrina Llegado (beauty queen), Gerone Olorocisimo (supermodel), etc.

Honorees who has representatives at the event because they weren’t able to attend were: Isko Moreno (former mayor of Manila), Gigi de Lana (singer), Leo Almodal (renowned bridal designer), Rolando Inocencio (theater actor), Wilbert Tolentino (philantrophist-businessman and online personality), Jojo Nones (GMA senior writer), Raymond Villanueva (fashion director), William Thio (TV personality), and Ma. Cecilia Bravo (entrepreneur).

The Faces of the Night were Kimson Tan (actor) and Maureen Wroblewitz (Asia’s Next Top Model season 5 winner). The 4th Philippine Best Quality Brands happened on the same night and the awardees were GMA Network, Net25, Erase Cosmetics, SMNI news Channel, Light Skin, Aqua Skin oral sunblock, Rise & Shine Pilipinas, Ginee Louw accessories, and Fit and Bloom Coffee.

Since 2017 when it was founded, Faces of Success has been held annually except for the year 2020, when pandemic struck. For this year’s edition, the target beneficiaries are from Mindanao — the Carmelites Home for Abandoned Children in Dipolog City and the Riverside Home in Dapitan City.
