The red carpet at this year’s American Music Awards, held at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, was nothing short of spectacular. Music’s biggest stars arrived in show-stopping outfits that perfectly balanced elegance and individuality. With dazzling gowns, sharp tailoring, and unexpected style twists, the night highlighted some of the most memorable fashion moments of the year.

Here are the five most unforgettable fashion moments from the night that set the stage on fire and defined the evening’s style narrative.

1. Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez, who also hosted the event, closed the night in a breathtaking light brown gown by Defaïence. The dress was an exercise in elegance with its metallic gold closures accentuating the neckline and waist, and a daring plunging cut that showcased Lopez’s signature bold style.

The fabric shimmered subtly under the stage lights, balancing glamour with sophistication, a perfect end to a night full of surprises.

2. Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson’s red carpet outfit made headlines, not for glamour but for its striking casual-cool vibe. She sported a cropped white Vetements jacket over a crisp white tank top paired with loose, baggy blue jeans.

The ensemble was completed with white sneakers and a white headband that pulled back her iconic curly hair. This laid-back yet purposeful look juxtaposed the usual red carpet glam and echoed her grounded persona, all while setting the tone for her powerful performance later in the night.

3. Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum, never one to shy away from drama, brought old-school supermodel flair in a plunging black gown by Stephanie Rolland. The dress featured a dramatic ruffled train and exaggerated structured shoulders, giving it a modern yet timeless couture feel.

At 51, Klum proved that age is just a number, commanding attention with every step while accompanied by her son Henry Samuel, adding a touch of warmth to her striking presence.

4. Ciara

Ciara’s red carpet appearance was a dazzling spectacle of bold glamour. She wore a pantsless bodysuit from Bronx and Banco that literally shimmered with silver chain details cascading past her knees. The strapless piece boasted a low neckline, revealing her toned physique.

Paired with silver Dolce & Gabbana platform heels, Ciara’s look was both futuristic and sensual, making her one of the most talked-about fashion highlights of the evening.

5. Rod Stewart

Meanwhile, Rod Stewart embraced classic rockstar sophistication with a shimmering black brocade suit patterned with swirling prints. His choice of a white silk shirt and skinny black tie struck the perfect balance between traditional and showy.

To top it off, Stewart accessorized with diamond-studded bracelets, rings, and a watch, alongside velvet loafers bejeweled to match his suit’s opulence. The look was fitting for a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient—bold, timeless, and unmistakably iconic.
