Canva, the world’s leading visual communication platform used by more than 240 million people monthly, today announced the Canva World Tour, a global learning movement to transform how the world learns and designs.

In October 2025, the Canva World Tour will span 40+ cities across 31 countries and 5 continents, featuring 250+ workshops, product training sessions, and community-driven events. The 30-day tour aims to reach more than 1 million people, equipping students, small business owners, educators, nonprofits, and enterprise teams with professional-level visual communication skills.

Whether they’re an entrepreneur launching their first venture, a teacher building classroom confidence, or a marketer modernizing their brand storytelling, the Canva World Tour is designed to meet people where they are, and take their creativity further.

Unlocking Creativity Across the Philippines

Following a unique Cannes beach takeover in June and a full-blown musical number at Canva Create in May, the Canva World Tour is the company’s most ambitious act yet. Fusing brand, product, and community engagement, Canva is turning a corporate roadshow into a movement built to spark creativity and unlock opportunity at global scale.

As one of Canva’s largest markets, the Philippines is home to a thriving community of educators, entrepreneurs, and creators with 1 in 5 internet users in the country using Canva. Local tour activities are designed to connect deeply with these communities, inspiring them through training, workshops, and new product experiences.

  • For Education: AI-powered learning sessions will showcase how classrooms can be transformed with interactive teaching, collaborative workflows, and hands-on upskilling.
  • For Businesses: On-site and online sessions will help entrepreneurs and HR professionals alike harness Canva to strengthen branding, boost productivity, and create impactful, on-brand materials.
  • For Communities: Nonprofits, creatives, and grassroots groups will explore how visuals can amplify impact, from turning data into compelling stories to creating on-the-go content with Canva’s mobile tools.

Maisie Littaua, Canva’s Country Manager for the Philippines, said, “The Philippines is home to some of our most creative and connected communities in the world, and Canva has become a tool of choice for millions here. With the Canva World Tour, we’re investing back into our community, empowering Filipinos with future-ready design skills, sparking innovation, and helping them share their voices with the world.”

By the numbers

  • 1M+ people gaining new design skills in 30 days
  • 40+ cities, 31 countries, 5 continents
  • 250+ workshops featuring Canva’s latest AI design tools
  • 50+ community-led events tailored to local audiences
  • 5 new globally accredited courses with professional digital credentials

As organizations recognize the shift to visual first communication in the workplace, leaders are prioritizing design skills to unleash their team’s creative potential, especially as 90% of Gen Z workers  say they do their best work visually.  The Canva World Tour is designed to close this skills gap, while also creating a sense of shared momentum workplaces, classrooms and communities worldwide.  (Source:  Canva Visual Communications Report 2025)

“The Canva World Tour isn’t a traditional roadshow – it’s an ambitious approach to events and brand building that redefines how we create meaningful touchpoints with our community,” said Zach Kitschke, Canva’s CMO. “By blending learning, creativity, and connection in a deeply immersive way, we’re showing how events can deliver lasting impact and bring our mission to life.”

Technology Meets Community

Every Canva World Tour stop will showcase the latest capabilities across Canva’s growing Visual Suite. From next-generation design tools that turn ideas into polished creations, to collaboration features that connect teams across continents, to portfolio builders that transform projects into career launch pads, each connection is designed to inspire and empower creators everywhere.

Attendees will not only learn design skills but will also leave with professional credentials and real projects they can showcase to employers, clients, or communities.  In addition to the local activations, Canva is also launching a range of new courses through its Design School, featuring hands-on tutorials, certification workshops, live design challenges, and formal credentials, including courses such as:  “Work smarter with AI,” “Meet Canva’s Visual Suite,” and “Create scroll-stopping content.”

The Canva World Tour runs throughout October, traveling through global business hubs, university campuses, and community spaces, with both in-person and online options to make participation possible from anywhere.

It culminates on October 30, with a global keynote broadcast live from Canva’s Sydney headquarters. The event will unveil significant product advancements, setting a new standard for how workplaces, classrooms, and creators everywhere communicate visually.
