Former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz is making headlines once again—but this time, it’s not for a Hollywood role or a racing victory. The actor-turned-professional racer took to social media this week to make a heartfelt declaration of faith, sharing with millions that he proudly “lives for Jesus Christ.”

“Happy Sunday! I am proud to say I live for Jesus Christ. Who’s with me?” Muniz, now 39, posted on X (formerly Twitter). The message quickly went viral, amassing over 93,000 likes and thousands of shares and comments within hours. Among the many who celebrated his post was actress Candace Cameron Bure, known for her outspoken Christian faith, who enthusiastically replied, “Let’s GO!!! Praise God.”

Muniz’s bold statement comes as no surprise to those who have followed his journey in recent years. After stepping away from Hollywood’s spotlight, the former child star has embraced a simpler, more grounded lifestyle—one that centers on faith, family, and purpose.

In past interviews, Muniz shared how leaving Los Angeles during the height of his fame helped him rediscover life’s deeper meaning. “Honestly, I did not like LA,” he told Us Weekly. “So I moved to Arizona, and I love it. I feel like it saved my life in the sense that I started enjoying the little aspects of life more, like hiking [and] going to the grocery store, because it was easy.”

The actor, who famously portrayed the quick-witted middle child in the beloved 2000s sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, has also been open about his clean lifestyle. “I’ve still never had a sip of alcohol; I’ve never done drugs — I’ve never done anything,” he said in a previous interview with the Los Angeles Times. For Muniz, the decision to walk away from Hollywood wasn’t about rejection but redirection—toward a life that allowed him to live out his values.

Earlier this year, Muniz shared a lighthearted Instagram video of himself singing along to Pat Barrett’s worship anthem “Build My Life.” The clip humorously cut to the actor being pulled over by a police officer, with Muniz writing, “All part of His plan, so you have to trust the good and the bad.” The post reflected his faith-driven outlook on life—one that finds joy and meaning even in life’s inconveniences.

Though he’s traded television sets for racetracks, Muniz hasn’t completely left entertainment behind. He is set to reprise his iconic role in Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, a Disney+ reboot that reunites the original cast, including Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek.

Beyond acting and racing, however, Muniz’s focus remains firm on his relationship with Christ. His public declaration of faith has inspired fans around the world, many of whom praised his courage in using his platform for something eternal.

From child stardom to racing circuits, Frankie Muniz’s story is one of transformation—proof that fame may fade, but faith endures. In a culture often defined by noise and distraction, Muniz’s simple yet powerful message stands out: living for Jesus is something to be proud of.
