The Met Gala 2025 was nothing short of spectacular, and Hailey Bieber’s preparation for this iconic night offers a fascinating glimpse into the art of getting ready for one of fashion’s most anticipated events. From skincare to styling, Hailey’s routine blends elegance with thoughtful detail, resulting in a look that perfectly captures the evening’s glamor.

Hailey’s preparation began with a meticulous skincare routine using her own Rhode Skin line. She started by prepping her complexion with the Glazing Milk, a lightweight, illuminating moisturizer that imparts a natural glow without heaviness. 

Following that, she applied the Barrier Butter, a rich, nourishing balm designed to lock in moisture and create a smooth, supple canvas for makeup application. This foundational step ensured her skin looked radiant and hydrated under the intense event lighting.

Hailey’s team glammed her up from nails to complete makeup and hair, creating a look that was simple, classic, and effortlessly wearable—one of the standout beauty moments at the Met Gala. After finishing her makeup and hair, Hailey put on her earrings, perfectly completing the ensemble. Her skin was topped with a flawless base of NARS products that gave her a fresh, radiant glow. 

Makeup artist Nina Park described the look as “undone glamour” focused on soft, tonal depth and luminous skin, perfectly complementing Hailey’s style and the Met Gala’s “Tailored for You” theme. Warm, easy-to-blend cream bronzer and blush in tones like NARS Laguna and Rhode’s Sleepy Girl added a natural, sun-kissed warmth, creating an effortlessly polished vibe ideal for summer beauty inspiration.

Hailey’s Met Gala outfit was a bold departure from convention — she ditched traditional pants and opted to wear only a black double-breasted grain de poudre tuxedo jacket by Saint Laurent. 

The jacket featured clean, sharp lines and a subtle sheen that caught the light beautifully as she moved. She accessorized the look with a crisp white silk pocket square, adding a touch of classic elegance to the otherwise minimalist outfit.

Underneath, Hailey wore sheer tights emblazoned with the iconic YSL logo, enhanced with rhinestone embellishments that twinkled with every step. These tights added a playful yet luxe detail that balanced the structured blazer perfectly. 

On her feet were towering black patent leather peep-toe platform stilettos, lending height and drama while maintaining an air of refined glamour.

To elevate the look further, Hailey adorned herself with statement jewelry that included a spectacular 25-carat diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co., featuring an enormous rectangular diamond pendant that caught every eye on the red carpet. 

She complemented this with pear-drop earrings and a delicate Audemars Piguet cocktail watch, marrying sparkle and subtlety in a refined fashion statement.
