He’s Into Her season 2 is finally happening! The hit iWant series starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano is returning, ABS-CBN confirmed on Friday.

ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Star Cinema’s Managing Director Olivia Lamasan, and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi made the announcement during an online event on August 6.

Original cast members Rhys Miguel, Joao Constancia, Jeremiah Lisbo, Kaori Oinuma, Gello Marquez,  Vivoree Esclito, Criza Taa, Ashley del Mundo,  Melizza Jimenez, Dalia Verde, Shopie Reyes, and Limer Veloso will also star in the show.

It can be recalled that the rom-com had been a massive success for the past few weeks, and fans even requested for another season.

The production was such a hit that it reached record-breaking viewership on iWantTFC, with 4 million active users during its run. However, filming and premiere dates have not been announced.

He’s Into Her also had recurring trending hashtags on Twitter.  On top of that, “The Benison Ball” concert also set a record high as the most well attended event on KTX.ph.

One may note that the 35,000 tickets sold surpassed the seating capacity of venues such as Mall of Asia Arena, Araneta Coliseum.
