Undoubtedly, one of the most successful actors in Philippine showbiz today is Dingdong Dantes, hailed as the “Kapuso Primetime King.”

Apart from acting, hosting, and even venturing into business, Dingdong has truly been blessed. Adding to his personal life, he is indeed fortunate to be the husband of his real-life queen, none other than the Kapuso Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera. That’s also what the showbiz columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis observed. She mentioned that it seems like 2024 is Dingdong’s year.

“Mukhang year ngayon ni Dingdong Dantes,” she said on her Instagram post. “Talagang ang dami niyang ginagawa at halos araw araw mo napapanuod sa tv. Iba din ang atake niya sa trabaho kaya naman gusto siya ng lahat ng nakasama niya. 

“Hindi mo maikakaila na talagang very hot siya ngayon dahil sa mga trabaho niya. At talagang iba din ang charisma niya sa screen. Tulad ni Piolo Pascual na talagang gustong gusto mo panuorin ganuon din si Dingdong na gusto mo rin laging nasa screen.”

“Kaya nakakatuwa na makitang ganuon ka busy si Dingdong Dantes. More work, more income kaya naman hula namin isa na sa pinakamayaman aktor ngayon si Dingdong Dantes. Bonggang bongga si Donya Marian Rivera dahil siya legal wife ng most lovable actor ng showbiz. Congrats talaga😍”

Lolit’s statement appears to be true as in 2023, Dingdong had a successful comeback in the series “Royal Blood.” Following that, he also had two hosting stints: “Family Feud Philippines” and “The Amazing Earth.”

It has also been announced by GMA Network that their sitcom with Marian, “Jose and Maria Bonggang Villa,” will be returning for its second season, with the addition of the comedy actress Pokwang.

But the biggest blessing Dingdong and Marian received was the box-office success of their comeback movie, “Rewind,” under Star Cinema. After 13 years, they teamed up again in a film that, as soon as they read the script and it was offered to them, they reportedly looked at each other and agreed immediately. They couldn’t pass up such a beautiful material.

As of now, “Rewind” can be considered the highest-grossing movie of all time in the Metro Manila Film Festival and even in local records, having earned Php 845 million. This is enough to surpass the previous record set by “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.

In addition to his achievements, Dingdong has also entered the field of film production after founding “Agosto Dos Pictures” in 2011. The company served as a co-production partner with Star Cinema and APT Entertainment for Rewind. 

Certainly, we cannot overlook his acting awards, such as the PMPC Star Awards, Box Office Entertainment Awards, and FAMAS Awards. Dingdong Dantes has garnered recognition for his outstanding performances in the industry.

Above all, he is a loving husband and father to his wife, Marian, and their children, Zia and Sixto. Their family life is closely followed by their fans on social media.
