Stranger Things has one again proved that it is a force to be reckoned with!
The science fiction horror series’ viewership numbers passed a huge milestone as it raked in over 1 billion watch hours. Since the first episode premiered on May 27th, fans have spent around 1.15 billion hours watching all nine episodes.
In spite of its numbers dropping 41% in its second week, the show still topped the Nielsen streaming chart from June 6 to 12.
Stranger Things has currently garnered more than 4.2 billion minutes of streaming, and has now joined Squid Game as one of two shows that has reached a certain target.
It is such a phenomenon that it is bolstering its previous seasons as well, with all four of them being the most-viewed.
One may recall that the show first aired on Netflix back in 2016.
Six years later, Millie Bobby Brown continues to star in the drama series alongside Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnap, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Sadie Sink, and David Harbour .
