Joy and celebration overflowed as Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Tebow welcomed their first child into the world. Born on Sunday, July 6, their daughter, Daphne Reign Tebow, arrived healthy and strong, weighing just over eight pounds. The proud parents announced her birth on social media, sharing heartfelt messages of gratitude and wonder at God’s goodness.

“Our daughter is here!” Demi-Leigh wrote. “We couldn’t be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life.” She expressed thanks to all those who had been praying with them and supporting their journey, calling the experience humbling and full of God’s grace.

The name Daphne Reign carries deep personal and spiritual significance. In a follow-up post, Demi-Leigh revealed that Daphne was inspired by her great-aunt, a South African woman who helped raise her after her grandmother passed. “Ouma Daphne was tiny but strong, full of grit and grace, and she loved Jesus,” Demi-Leigh shared. “She made everyone feel seen and special. I always said if I ever had a daughter, I would name her Daphne.”

The couple also chose the middle name Reign to reflect their Christian faith. The name was inspired by a child they had come to love over the years, one whose story left a lasting impact on their hearts. More than that, Reign is a declaration of identity in Christ. “When you’re adopted into God’s family, you become royalty—a child of the King,” Demi-Leigh explained. “You were made to reign, not in worldly power, but in love, purpose, and identity.”

“Daphne Reign Tebow — created in the image of God,” she concluded. “Royalty as His princess. Our biggest prayer over her life is to reign in God’s purpose.”

The announcement quickly spread across platforms, gathering warm congratulations from fans and fellow believers. The couple’s love story—rooted in faith and mutual purpose—has inspired many. Married since 2020, Tim and Demi-Leigh have continually pointed others to Jesus through their testimonies and work with the Tim Tebow Foundation, which serves people with disabilities and supports rescue missions for those trapped in human trafficking.

Earlier this year, they shared the news of Demi-Leigh’s pregnancy in a heartwarming video. Filmed in a sunlit field, Tim displayed sonogram photos as the couple embraced, their joy undeniable. “I couldn’t imagine a better life partner,” Demi-Leigh reflected. “To be able to raise a little human together—what a gift.”

As she entered her thirties just days before giving birth, Demi-Leigh shared her excitement: “I’m entering a new decade with so much hope and anticipation for the God-stories that will come from this new adventure.”

Now, with baby Daphne in their arms, the Tebows are stepping into a new season—one filled with purpose, prayer, and the unwavering belief that their daughter, made in God’s image, is already part of a bigger plan.

Congratulations to the Tebow family!
