Why Life Without Jesus Doesn’t Work by Girls Gone Bible

Angela and Arielle, the duo behind Girls Gone Bible (GGB), aren’t just podcast hosts—they’re living testimonies of how radically Jesus can transform a life. Their message is simple yet profound: “There is No Other Option…We Can’t Live Without Jesus.”

Both women came from deeply broken places—depression, isolation, spiritual confusion—and both encountered the healing, redeeming love of Christ at their lowest points.

Angela met Jesus before she found community. She had already fallen in love with Him, but her life didn’t fully reflect that transformation until she found others who walked the same path. Arielle, meanwhile, encountered Jesus in a small Catholic church. She would sit in the quiet for hours, overwhelmed by His presence, feeling for the first time a sense of relief and hope. When the two eventually met during a work project, it was a divine appointment.

In a moment of vulnerability, Arielle was crying in the corner when Angela walked over, took her hand, and said, “I don’t know who you are, but we’ll get through this together.” That instant formed a friendship rooted in Jesus and would eventually blossom into a ministry.

Their testimonies are not about perfection, but about the ongoing journey of sanctification and surrender. As they often emphasize, Jesus doesn’t wait for people to “get it together” before inviting them into His grace. In fact, it was in their most broken states that He called them.

The world often promises fulfillment through success, beauty, and achievement—but GGB shows that without Jesus, those things ring hollow. Real transformation begins when you place Him at the center.

Their podcast, which now nears 100 episodes, was born out of a simple desire to talk about what God was doing in their lives. Initially doubting the quality of their first episode, they shelved it—but the burden to share never left them.

When they finally released their first episode, they never looked back. Since then, their journey has exploded into something far bigger than expected: a book, a thriving online community, and a powerful Girls Gone Bible World Tour.

The Out of the Wilderness devotional, one of their most heartfelt projects, captures 31 days of raw, real stories from their lives. Each devotion flips between Angela and Arielle’s voices, sharing how Jesus met them in moments of pain, rebellion, and restoration.

It’s not about being polished—it’s about being honest and inviting readers to experience the same redemption they’ve received.

Their World Tour is not your typical live event. While it’s labeled as a “live podcast,” it functions more like a revival night. These gatherings go into spiritually dark places, encountering young people battling suicidal thoughts, fear, and torment.

But amid the brokenness, they’ve seen miracles, healing, and freedom—all because Jesus was present. Their prayer is not to entertain, but to make space for Jesus to move.

Tour dates include stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Chicago, and Miami. Each night is designed to be a place of encounter—not performance. For GGB, it’s not about fame or followers—it’s about pointing people to the One who changed everything. Because they know from experience: life without Jesus simply doesn’t work.
