ANCHOR ATTRACTION FOR WORLD-CLASS ENTERTAINMENT HUB: SUN WORLD VUNG TAU

A groundbreaking project that helps elevate Blanca City as a premier residential and tourism development, Sun World Vung Tau demonstrates how world-class entertainment can drive growth and investment. The park impresses by combining novel attractions with theming rooted in the culture and heritage of the country’s south.

WhiteWater, the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of water parks, provided 32 slides, a large interactive aquatic play structure, and 10 spray toys, with several signature attractions making headlines.

• At nearly 100 meters in length, Asia’s first Mini Blaster “Mystic Ocean Voyage” is the world’s longest water coaster for children as certified by World Records Union.
• “Serpent’s Aquarium” is Asia’s first Wall Runner. Recipient of a 2025 IAAPA Brass Ring Best New Product Award, this eye-catching slide with sweeping arcs creates the world’s first-ever lateral drifting sensations on a water slide.
• AquaForms 20 “Mekong Water Battle” is the World’s Biggest Modular Aquatic Play Structure. Winner of a 2023 Brass Ring Award, the AquaForms 20 with sleek design has 20 platforms interconnected by paths and stairs for kids to roam and discover 132 play features.

With this Leading Edge Award, Sun World Vung Tau serves as a great example of a world-class attraction as part of a plan to bring residents, tourists, business owners, and investors to an urban resort and residential development.

A YEAR OF EXTRAORDINARY OPENINGS ACROSS VIETNAM

The WWA recognition at Sun World Vung Tau comes during a year of significant development for Vietnam’s aquatic entertainment sector.

Towering 52.1 meters over the Hai Phong skyline, Southeast Asia’s Tallest Water Slide Tower “Rainbow Storm” at VinWonders Vu Yen launches 7 water slides of varying thrills for a combined slide path of 738 meters. With an iconic appearance, the tower is helping to establish the Vu Yen Royal Island development as a landmark destination.

Part water slide, part Ferris wheel, VinWonders Nha Trang brought a first-of-its-kind experience to Southeast Asia with the opening of the SlideWheel in Spring 2026. Since then, it has sustained high interest, with riders and spectators trying to figure out how the thrill ride works. The SlideWheel’s scale and distinct silhouette make for a park-defining presence.

SHAPING THE FUTURE OF AQUATIC ENTERTAINMENT IN VIETNAM

The recognition of Sun World Vung Tau reflects a broader transformation taking place across Vietnam’s tourism and leisure landscape. As the country continues to develop world-class destinations, water parks are playing an increasingly important role in creating distinctive experiences that not only attract visitors but also business and property owners.
