A night of faith, worship, and powerful storytelling is set to unfold at one of America’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The Revival Generation, a moving documentary produced by the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), will premiere at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The event promises not only a red-carpet film debut but also an unforgettable gathering of believers united in celebration of a spiritual awakening sweeping across Gen Z.

At its heart, The Revival Generation captures a growing movement of young people who are turning to Christ in remarkable numbers. From spontaneous baptisms in lakes and fountains to worship breaking out in football stadiums, the film brings to life the hunger for God rising on college campuses nationwide. Directed by Laura Hand and produced by Abigail Robertson, the project reflects a story bigger than statistics—it is about lives transformed, prayers answered, and faith renewed.

One of the central figures in the film is Tonya Prewett, a mother whose desperate prayer over her daughter’s hidden pain became the spark for something far-reaching. Her story gave birth to UniteUS, a student-led revival movement that first drew thousands in prayer at Auburn University in 2023. From there, the ripple spread to Ohio State and beyond, with countless students experiencing salvation and baptism. As Prewett reflects in the film, “Prayer is powerful and great things can happen when we say ‘yes’ to God.”

The Kennedy Center premiere marks a milestone in this unfolding story of revival. Ambassador Richard Grenell, President of the Kennedy Center, shared his own perspective: “In the early 1900s, my mom’s family was part of the Azusa Street revival in Los Angeles which helped ignite the Jesus movement of the 1970s. Today, we are on the cusp of another exciting revival in America and this film premiere at our nation’s cultural center highlights some of those beginnings.”

Viewers will also hear from influential Christian leaders such as Dr. Ben Carson and Jennie Allen, whose insights add depth to the narrative. Together with scenes of mass worship and testimonies of transformation, The Revival Generation offers not only inspiration but also a call to action—reminding audiences that revival is not a moment, but a movement sustained by prayer and faith.

For Producer Abigail Robertson, the Kennedy Center premiere is evidence of God’s providence. “When we started working on this documentary, we never imagined it would one day premiere in the iconic Kennedy Center Concert Hall—but God had plans far greater than ours.”

Madison Prewett Troutt echoes this sense of awe: “To see a movement that started on college campuses now reaching the national cultural center of the U.S. is nothing short of miraculous. God is moving powerfully in this generation.”
