Celebrity couple Kapuso star Heart Evangelista and Senator Chiz Escudero recently renewed and reaffirmed their commitment to each other at Balesin Island, the very location where they exchanged vows back in February 2015.

As reported by the Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, the pair renewed their vows at the Royal Villa of the Balesin Island Club.

 As reported by “Unang Balita” of GMA News, Evangelista’s renewal of vows with her husband will be an intimate gathering, including their family and closest friends. The renowned fashion figure donned a stunning bespoke ensemble by Ellie Saab, exuding an ethereal aura, while the Senator appeared incredibly stylish in a full white suit and trousers ensemble.

Evangelista also wore a significant custom-made necklace adorned with diamonds she had amassed over time, including some gifted by her parents and spouse. Heart’s Instagram posts showcase the renewal of vows ceremony.

Heart shared that Elie Saab holds a significant sentimental value for her, as it was one of the inaugural fashion week shows she attended. She has always been drawn to their enchanting and romantic designs, and upon seeing the custom couture dress, she knew it was the perfect choice to commemorate this special moment and her ninth wedding anniversary.

The momentous event was shot by celebrity photographer BJ Pascual. Her make-up artist “Indonesian in Manila” Albert Kurniawan gave some details on Mrs. Escudero’s look. 

“Today for my missy @iamhearte renewal of vow ceremony, I decided to go for semi dewy skin, with igari styled diffused apricot blush and neutral tone nude lips… and for eyes I decided to go for light frosted eyeshadow with smudged graphic liner,” he said. 

Aside from the renewal of vows, February 14 holds special significance for Heart as it marks not only Valentine’s Day but also her 39th birthday.

“[Thank] you for the Friendship that stood the test of time (heart emoji). Happiest Birthday to my dearest friend, sister, confidant… missy @iamhearte [you] know the rest na dear! You always have the most special place in my heart,” the make-up artist greeted.”

Heart Evangelista beams happily alongside her sister, Camille Ongpauco, and fashion designer Michael Leyva on her momentous occasion. Leyva captured a video of Heart before she made her way down the aisle, expressing his affection with the message, “Sending love your way [heart emojis] @iamhearte in @eliesaabworld.”

He also caught a beautiful scenario between the bride and her mom, Cecilia Ongpauco, when they walked down the aisle. “Such a very touching moment,” Michael wrote in his post.

On her Instagram post, Evangelista shared a video clip that summarizes their renewal of vows with a caption and hashtag “Happy #chizheartchaptertwo ☁️☁️☁️.”

After nine years of marriage, the couple is now expressing their readiness for parenthood, with Heart emphasizing that she feels more prepared than ever to embark on the journey of motherhood.

In 2018, Heart experienced pregnancy but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage, resulting in the loss of their twin babies.
