Uptown Bonifacio lit up with glitz and emotion during the special block screening of “Only We Know,” Star Cinema’s newest film starring Charo Santos and Dingdong Dantes, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Irene Villamor.

Held at Uptown Cinemas, the exclusive event was hosted by lifestyle tastemaker Tim Yap and brought together a dynamic mix of stars, VIPs, and social media personalities. 

It was a dazzling night of stars joined by Piolo Pascual, Sue Ramirez, Dominic Roque, Rabiya Mateo, Joross Gamboa, and Nadia Montenegro. Also in the event were Polo Ravales, Ashley Rivera, Janeena Chan, and P-pop group Cloud 7—all showing their support for the film and its powerful performances. Joy Marcelo, FVP of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, was also in attendance, further highlighting the strong industry support behind the project. 

“Only We Know” tells the story of Betty, a retired English teacher facing the quiet weight of life after years in the classroom, and Ryan, a recently widowed structural engineer struggling to make sense of a world that has shifted beneath his feet. What begins as an unexpected friendship slowly unfolds into a deeply moving connection—one that blurs the lines between healing, intimacy, and the quiet courage it takes to move forward.

From the heartfelt story to the star-studded guest list, the evening stood as a celebration of Philippine cinema, underscoring Megaworld Cinemas’ commitment to uplifting local storytelling through elevated moviegoing experiences.
